From Urgam Valley, you can witness the majestic Himalayan ranges, including the snow-capped Nanda Devi and the five towering peaks of Panchachuli. On clear days, these stunning mountain views, along with Dunagiri's rugged charm, create a breathtaking panorama that captures the serene beauty and grandeur of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Dunagiri (7,066 m) is one of the high peaks of the Chamoli District Himalayas in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It lies at the northwest corner of the Sanctuary Wall, a ring of peaks surrounding Nanda Devi and enclosing the Nanda Devi Sanctuary.
Trishuli Peak stands at approximately 7,120 meters (23,359 feet), making it one of the high peaks in the region. Trisul is a group of three Himalayan mountain peaks of western Kumaun, Uttarakhand. The three peaks resemble a trident - in Sanskrit, Trishula, trident, is the weapon of Shiva.
It is a 6,309-metre-high (20,699 ft) mountain in Garhwal, India. It lies on the outer rim of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The mountain was first surveyed by T. G. Longstaff in 1907. Eric Shipton surveyed it from the west in 1931. The first serious attempt to reach the summit was made by B. R. Goodfellow and J. Buzzard (UK) in 1944.

Nanda Devi, the second highest mountain in India, can often be glimpsed from various points in and around Urgam Valley. The massif is part of the Garhwal Himalayas and its towering presence inspires awe, especially at sunrise when the first light hits the snow-capped peak.
